Title: Fruit Chutney

500gDried peaches
500gDried apricots
500gStoned dates
500gSeedless raisins
1 Clove garlic, crushed
400gSugar
1 ,5 litres vinegar mixed with
500mlWater
1mlGround cinnamon, ( 1/4 teaspoon)
15mlSalt, (3 teaspoons)
1mlCayenne pepper, ( 1/4 teaspoon)

Soak the peaches and apricots overnight in water to cover. Drain. Mince all the fruit together and place in a saucepan. Add all the other ingredients and simmer stirring occasionally, Until the chutney thickens, about 2 hours. Bottle and seal immediately.
